Responsibilities
Assist in promoting DOW services to potential community partners
Coordinate, prepare and perform for each DOW session
The candidate must be able to supervise, guide and direct junior nurses and nursing students to ensure that optimal care is provided in order to meet both positive patient outcome and experience
Packing of medication, supplies, equipment etc.
Assist the doctor in nursing functions at DOW sites
Dispensing, verification, clarification and reconciliation of medication
Taking of vital signs and other laboratory investigations including ECG as ordered by the doctor
Administrative duties e.g. documentation
Ensure smooth and prompt workflow/operations through effective teamwork
Provide clinical supervision
Requirements
Diploma in Nursing from a tertiary institution approved by the Singapore Nursing Board
At least 3 years of practical nursing experience
Experience in conducting health checks in the community
Awareness of current nursing and health care practices
Develop, implement and evaluate health education programs in schools
Possess good interpersonal and communication skill
