STAFF MIDWIFE (REGISTERED)
Job Role
One who render bedside nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse.
Job Description:
1. Receives endorsement 15 minutes before official time.
2. Takes TPR and BP of patients as directed by the ward nurse.
3. Performs simple nursing procedures and treatment.
4. Measures and records intake and output of patients.
5. Assists the nurse in carrying complicated procedures.
6. Assists in the implementation of hospital rules and regulations to patients and visitors.
7. Assists in the general activities of the unit.
Qualification
Must be a graduate of diploma in Midwifery
Must be a registered Midwife with updated PRC license
Experience is an advantage but not required
