Job Title: Staff / Junior Accountant - AR Specialist (CPG Industry)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Staff / Junior Accountant specializing in Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our Philippines-based team and support U.S. accounting operations. This role focuses on customer billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliation within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, experienced in managing high-volume customer accounts, and comfortable coordinating daily with both internal teams and external customers. This is a night-shift position aligned with U.S. business hours.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable OperationsPrepare, issue, and validate customer invoices with accurate pricing, coding, and terms
(experience with CPG deductions and chargebacks is a plus).Manage daily AR activities for multiple customer accounts, including follow-ups on outstanding balances.Process customer payments and perform timely, accurate cash application in NetSuite.Monitor customer portals, validate remittances, and resolve common CPG deductions (short payments, disputes, chargebacks, etc.).Maintain up-to-date AR aging reports and support collection efforts.Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or unapplied payments.Customer & Internal CommunicationCommunicate with customers regarding billing issues, statements, payment arrangements, and account clarifications.Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.Month-End Close & Audit SupportAssist with month-end AR reconciliations and reporting.Prepare and organize AR-related documentation for audits.Support ad hoc accounting projects and special reporting tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2-3 years of AR or general accounting experience
(CPG industry experience strongly preferred).Experience working with NetSuite (required or strongly preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Prior experience handling multiple customer accounts daily.Experience supporting U.S. teams or working night shifts is an advantage.Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage high-volume tasks and customer coordination.Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently.Strong sense of ownership and commitment to meeting deadlines.
