As SPC Engineer, you will help Manufacturing Engineering team create new SPC chart and/or conduct SPC revamp activities to warrant SPC charts will be accurate, sensitive, and up to date. You will communicate, conduct meetings with process owners, and discuss SPC strategies to identify best sub-groups, samples size, control limits and OCAPs. Likewise confirm the created charts is a resounding KIV of the intended end KOV. Close SPC chart revamp with usurp agreed AUT.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate w/ ME engineering team to create new or revamp existing SPC charts.
Communicate, conduct meetings with process owners, and discuss SPC strategies to identify best sub-groups, samples size, control limits and OCAPs.
Ensure developed SPC charts will be released accordingly w/ appropriate owners, control limits and OCAPs.
Monitor created / revamp SPC charts OOC and NAR
Run Protect 2.0 to check downstream impact of OOC
Develop virtual console dashboards for SPC OOC KOV
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ComSci, ECE, EE, IE, ME)
Minimum 8-15 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field.
Advanced skills in JMP, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, with working knowledge in script development
Expert in manufacturing Statistical Process Control
PREFERRED:
Previous experience as SPC Engineer, Product Engineering Engineer
Certificate Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt)
SKILLS:
Deep understanding in statistical process control
Have background in SPC chart development, basic script writing (WEB SPC, EDC SPC, etc)
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization
Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs
Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, confidential and sensitive issues
Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating and managing the efforts of others
