JOB SUMMARY:
As Staff Buyer, your responsibility is to ensure on time materials/services availability, drive cost savings and compliance to the internal and external requirements. You will be responsible to assist Purchasing Director or Manager to meet achieve department KRs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop demand and forecast plan for the responsible commodities/services and communicate timely to suppliers.
Establish usage and allocation analysis.
Market and Commodities Analysis.
Supplier Due Diligence.
Sourcing and Benchmarking.
Supporting company-wide cost reductions activities.
Bidding and Negotiation.
RFQ Review, Processing, and Completion.
Inventory Management (Min-Max/VMI/CI/Forecast).
PO Management
Secure shipping documents from supplier and work with Logistics for delivery arrangement
Supplier Enrollment.
Contract Management and Execution.
Internal/External Audit.
Purchasing Metrics Reporting.
Ensure no line down situation due to supply shortage.
Standard Cost Update.
PO Accrual Update.
Prepare Return to Vendor.
Review Statement of Account from Suppliers.
Settle Never Validated Invoices (AP Aging Invoice)
Prepare Risk Buy Form (as applicable)
Supplier Audit
Supplier Reassessment/Disqualification
Supplier Performance Management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Customs Administration, Finance and/or equivalent.
Atleast 5 yrs. of working experience in supply chain management including purchasing and knowledge related to semiconductor/solar industry/manufacturing is a plus.
Preferably with experience in Oracle, SAP or equivalent.
Basic skill in MS Application (Excel and PowerPoint).
