Job Description Network Operations Support Engineer translates directives and strategies from department head into detailed project plans.
DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Translates directives and strategies from department head into detailed project plans. Acknowledge and attend to EG and SG customer reported issues for Mobile postpaid, Duo, Voice/SMS, Wireless VPN, signal coverage, and SDWAN-LTE nomadic. Deliver L2 case handling support via the prescribed phone and ticket management systems.
Conduct case isolation and troubleshooting including necessary L2 procedures using the following tools: Discovery/Actix One: signal coverage checking U2020: site alarm checking ICD: check fault tickets for existing site related alarms MyCOM: KPI checking of sites (capacity, interference) PGW: to view subscriber services on HLR SEQ: calls/SMS logs checking (latched sites included) Acision: SMS logs counter checking Radcom/Qtrace: data logs checking including historical latched sites APMS: remote access tool for Femtocell SDWAN VSD: NMS tool for SDWAN circuits Customer Portal: tool to view circuit details specific per customer including traffic and port status Streamline: database for activated SDWAN circuits containing network diagrams and circuit descriptions. Recommends prioritization of trouble and performance tickets when escalated by customers QUALIFICATIONS: 1 to 2 years experience in technical support, incident management Preferably with telco or network, IT, data communications experience/background Wireless mobile network and/or NOC/Tier 2 experience is a plus
Good oral and written communication skills is a must Graduate of ECE or any related Engineering/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree Make Your Passion
