Position Overview
Responsible for line sustaining activities in the plant and ensure maintenance activities are geared towards equipment operational reliability and maximizing production output and efficiency
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Probe operations through the implementation of the Preventive Maintenance Plan, Spare Parts Management, and projects for Capital Expenditures to continue to the profitability of the company at optimum cost to satisfy technical and marketing requirements
Formulate methods and improvements for the reduction and control of equipment, supplies and materials inventories
Recommend and implement projects to improve capacity, efficiency reliability and safety of equipment so that we can improve process performance and optimize maintenance cost
Control downtime by informing Production and PPIC of routine preventive maintenance
Monitor inventory of tools and equipment
Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance reports
Attend weekly, monthly, and corporate meetings, as required
Manage execution and completion of work orders to ensure availability of equipment for continuous plant operations
Plann and prepare unit objectives and programs in line with corporate objectives and strategies to standardize operational practices
Develop and recommend organizational plans which include the definition of duties and responsibilities, skills, educational qualifications, and manpower required for each position for the division in accordance with overall plans and standards to optimize the performance of the Maintenance personnel and prepare them to higher position
Ensure that performance standards are established for all critical work areas, effective control systems are implemented accordingly, and that regular performance evaluation is conducted to optimize equipment efficiencies and ensure continuous operations
Implement and conform to all certification guidelines and procedures; Participate in annual audit to maintain and ensure renewal of certification
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline
With at least 10 years of work experience in a Manufacturing or Processing Plant
With strong leadership skills and with managerial experience specializing in Maintenance/Repair of Semiconductor Wafer Testing or Final Test
Has extensive experience on handling Probers, Testers, Probecards and Electronic testing hardwares
Extensive technical knowledge in Prober and Wafer Handler, and in ATE Machines (Teradyne, Advantest, Credence)
