JOB DESCRIPTION
 
Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Assistant Controller.
Reconcile credit card deposits.
Partner with  Finance and Operations to provide revenue recognition guidance.
Collaborate with billing and revenue operations teams within the order to cash organization to successfully operationalize revenue transactions
Own the month-end and quarter-end close process for deferred revenue, revenue recognition, and cash input (journal entries and variance analysis).
Prepare general ledger journal entries as needed and complete financial accruals
Assist with the drafting of all global and regional revenue policies
Support the acceleration and efficiency of the accounting close by expanding the use of quality data and data analytics tools within the order to cash process
Prepare general ledger journal entries as needed and complete financial accruals
Effectively communicate and educate revenue recognition policies and compliance requirements across the Company
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualifications:
CPA/MBA preferred
As a technical revenue accounting Sr. Accountant,  you will be an expert in the revenue standards and collaborate with the operations teams to understand the cash cycle, understanding of accounting and contract management,  and will take ownership the revenue accounting close.
The position requires a high-energy individual with a detailed hands-on mindset who can also think strategically, possesses both strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a dynamic environment
Strong Excel knowledge – able to manipulate a large volume of data
Knowledge of Netsuite
Strong understanding of accounting principles (USA GAAP).
Strong experience in data analysis and financial modeling
Ability to develop realistic timelines and deliver results
