We're looking for a motivated Project Specialist to help support quality for Uber's US&C Community Operations Service Quality team.
This role will report to the Program & Planning lead of Service Quality, driving central quality initiatives across the US&C mega region, in all verticals of business across all modalities.
The Project Specialist is encouraged to be a strategic leader and structured thinker who has a love for process efficiency and continuous improvement. The role must thrive in cross-functional collaboration at all levels inspiring changes and driving accountability. You will need to be deadline driven and comfortable communicating with a number of partners. You understand SQL, Google Data Studio, and Google Suite and are able to work expertly with each.
What the Candidate Will Do/ Bonus Points
Support regional level projects across teams like dealing with quality and service improvements, improving capabilities, data analytics, migrations, people initiatives, reporting improvements, process standardization, and keeping track of plans, quality, and timelines for such activities.
Track progress, understand dependencies, communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders.
Proactively work to remove obstacles and enable forward momentum and progress.
Handle issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing challenging priorities.
Support strategic projects such as tooling implementation, process changes and other cross-functional effort as assigned
---- Basic Qualifications ----
Experience working on cross-functional projects and/or teams.
Understanding or basic experience with project management.
Proven track record to work on a deadline.
Organized, determined, and detail-oriented.
Proven history of being a collaborative standout colleague.
Experience with Google Suite, SQL, Microsoft Excel and Google Data Studio,
Interest or basic experience with service quality principles.
