The Opportunity
The Sr. Multimedia Artist will be responsible for creating captivating and visually appealing assets for kumu. Your expertise in multimedia tools, animation techniques, and video editing will be crucial in delivering high-quality content that engages our audience.
Responsibilities:
Develop visually stunning animated assets for our live-streaming platform, including intros, outros, transitions, overlays, and motion graphics.
Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and storyboard animation ideas based on project requirements.
Utilize multimedia tools and software to create seamless animations and visually appealing effects that enhance the overall user experience.
Edit and enhance raw video footage, ensuring high-quality standards are met for live-streaming broadcasts.
Incorporate kumu branding elements and maintain consistency across all multimedia assets.
Optimize multimedia files for various platforms and devices while considering bandwidth and performance limitations.
Stay updated with industry trends, animation techniques, and emerging multimedia tools to continuously improve skills and share knowledge with the team.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, video producers, and developers, to ensure smooth project execution.
Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Organize media events to ensure maximum engagement and coverage, followed by post-event analysis in order to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of goals, objectives, and strategies.
Other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned.
We'd like it if you Are/Have:
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Animation, Film Production, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Multimedia Artist or Animator, with a focus on animation and video editing.
Proficient in multimedia tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar software.
Strong understanding of animation principles, video editing techniques, and storytelling concepts.
Excellent creative and artistic skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing assets.
Solid knowledge of file formats, codecs, and compression techniques for multimedia assets across various platforms.
Passion for technology, creator economy, and/or Filipino talent and culture.
