Our focus is on developing the very best mobile and web applications and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are currently looking for a Sr. Mobile Software Engineer to add to our growing team.
Description
The role involves building out PDF editing functionality in Trax. Several options for SDKs are available, PSPDFKit, PDFTron, Foxit, Syncfusion. To manage timely completion of deliverables with our Project Manager, System Administrator, Strategists, and Design Team.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in mobile development using DART, Typescript, and Firebase
At least 3 years of experience in using Flutter
Strong skills in building modular software adhering to best programming principles and design patterns.
Strong understanding of API.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices for mobile development.
Well-versed with code versioning tools, specifically Git.
Ability to coordinate with an extended design team. Will be required to ensure that the design and implementation work well in the context of the entire system and product strategy
An understanding of what it means to wear different hats in a small, dynamic team environment, and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
Practical experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment, with an understanding of what works and what doesn't in a professional-services setting.
Duties and responsibilities:
Determine appropriate architecture for new projects
Participate in rapid prototyping and application coding and debugging
Communicating with the project manager to understand business requirements and translate them to technical specifications.
Ensure that solutions meet software quality measures and coding standards in order to reduce iterations with the QA process.
Monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies.
Works across Android and iOS from a single codebase with web being a plus.
Allows annotations, inserting free text, freehand drawing, shapes, images, stamps, signatures.
Tracks changes individually and stores them separately so they can be added or removed from the PDF.
Restricting editing on an item by item and user by user basis.
Stores the file and any markups in Firebase through Firebase Storage and Firestore Database.
Real-Time synchronization of markups with Firebase.
Writing of Function / Widget / Integration tests
