GENERAL:
Responsible to the General Manager for the implementation and maintenance of both computer hardware and software.
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1 Manage all computer software and hardware and see to it that it is in good working condition.
2.2 Responsible in preparing IT plans, rules and regulation in using the company's computers.
2.3 Responsible in maintaining server and workstation.
2.4 Perform system diagnostics, repair and updates to ensure data integrity and realibility.
2.5 Assist in diagnosis and resolving problems with printers, copier, fax machines and networks.
2.6 Ensure that the anti-virus software is always up to date and share necessary information with the computer users regarding potential risks.
2.7 Ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network which includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all network hardware, software and communication links.
2.8 Performs routine audits of system and software installed to every workstation.
2.9 Responsible for network and data files security, storage and back ups.
2.10 Monitor and update the company's website and email management system.
2.11 Monitor the internet and see to it that it is being use for business purposes only and not for downloading big files such as movies and music.
2.12 Provide help desk and technical support to employees who are familiar with computers.
2.13 Assist the Procurement Officer in determining the specifications of computer and other related electronic devices.
2.14 Inspect new purchase computer and other related devices and see to it that it is in accordance with the technical specification specified in the request form and in good working condition.
2.15 Maintain the PABX system and telephony.
3.0 EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
3.1 Education:
Ø Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
3.2 Experience:
Ø At least three (3) years related experience in Local Area Networking, server management and with above knowledge in computer troubleshooting both hardware and software
3.3 Others:
Ø Good communication and personal relation skills
