Your responsiblities
Reports to the Global Quality Systems & Operations Support Leader in SCESQ.
Provides proposals and actively collaborate in the QS&OS LT for strategic direction setting, for prioritization and for leading the global QS&OS organization.
Manages staff and external consultants responsible for a diverse set of Site Compliance Network Member (SCNM) activities as well as Quality Operational Support activities to ensure our products and related GMP documentation are in compliance with Regulatory expectations and internal SOPs.
Manages the performance of (remote) direct reports through goal setting, ongoing coaching and assessment.
Acts as QS&OS Point of Contact / representative and build strong relations with stakeholders. Facilitates or co-facilitates Quality Management Review meetings.
Provides leadership in continuously improving/simplifying our processes with stakeholders and in providing Quality Operational Support.
Provides Regulatory expertise and Quality System expertise.
Leads projects to map, standardize, streamline routine activities, internal processes or to reduce quality or compliance risk.
Network/benchmark with other organizations to ensure best-in-class processes.
Assures that the departmental goals /Targets are accomplished in a timely manner and ensures high quality output. Collaborates effectively with peers, staff and stakeholders to effectively communicate goals, issues, strategy, and to effectively accomplish Pfizer goals.
Plans and coordinates the execution of the SCNM and Quality operational support activities, including back-up arrangements.
Analyzes workload and shifts work to obtain an optimal balance globally and across teams.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and systematically takes initiatives with key stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of internal processes globally.
Monitors internal performance metrics. Anticipates on results, identifies any significant trend and defines Corrective and Preventive Actions as needed.
SCNM and Quality Operational Support activities include but are not limited to:
Regulatory support for Product Changes with Regulatory impact.
Regulatory support for New Registrations, Renewals, Deficiency letters and Regulatory Commitments
Change expertise for Product Transfers
Product Compliance assessments and mitigation
Lot endorsement where necessary as per internal SOP
Routine Complaint handling
Your profile
Minimally BA/BS Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
Minimally 10 years in a GXP setting
At least 5 years in Product Quality Assurance/ Regulatory Affairs in a GXP environment
Remote People Management experience is required. Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts.
Advanced computer skills, MS Office and enterprise systems such as SAP, QTS, Documentum platforms
Command of English language required - multi-lingual is beneficial
Strong verbal and written communication including presentation skills
Demonstrated personal leadership to manage virtual cross functional projects
Is diplomatic, clear & succinct in communication with internal and external customers
Demonstrated experience managing complex quality and compliance activities in a manufacturing plant or with a contractor. Experience working with external suppliers/contractors is preferred
Demonstrated managerial/organizational skills
Up to 10% travel
