SR. IT TECHNICAL ENGINEER - CEBU
 
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain computers, printers, monitors, communication, projector, videocon, biometrics, wifi, network and other computer peripherals including equipments with computerized systems.
Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
Diagnose and resolve problems regarding operating systems, emails, internet connectivity, critical production applications, network environment and communication.
Provide network and telecommunication support, cabling, infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting, server administration, configuration, installation and backup.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to protect both clients and company from data loss.
Installation and configuration of software, operating system, and applications.
Installation and maintain servers and workstations with updated anti-virus and operating systems patches and licenses.
Setup and maintain consistent folder structures, and grant appropriate permissions.

Provide problem-solving services to network users
Makes sure all servers are running 24/7.
Performs other assignments that may be required from time to time.
Qualifications:
At least three years experience as Technical Support Specialist.
With experience in repairs and maintenance of computers.
Solving hardware, software, and network related problems
Installation of operating system, applications software, antivirus and software patches.
Network support, cabling, infrastructure, troubleshooting, installations, configurations and security.
Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and administration of the following Operating Systems: MS Windows Server, MS Windows OS, MS SQL, SAP System and BASIS Administration.
Must have broad knowledge in IT technical field such as Voice Over Internet, (Voip), Wireless Network Connection (WiFi), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Biometrics, CCTV, Security Access Control, Telecommunications (PABX), Projectors, Backup System, Routers, Network Switches, Windows servers and workstations.
Doing hands-on installation and configuration of various software, hardware and network systems.
Technical expertise on cabling, backups, solving hardware, software and network related problems.
Experience should include familiarization with Microsoft applications and other technologies
Graduate of any four or five years Computer course with major in Engineering, Information System, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
