This position is for an IT Project Manager supporting the delivery of GWAM's Enterprise Project Portfolio. The successful applicant will be involved with an Agile, high performing team overseeing or executing the delivery of large and small Initiatives driven by our Enterprise Technology organization. The candidate will need to have a breadth and depth of experience that will allow her/him to devise and support solutions that integrate appropriately within the organization and its application frameworks. Responsibilities: Coordinate remote & dispersed teams (multiple organizations internal to Manulife, Vendors, other) to identify business and technical needs Define solutions & implement them into our technical environments and businesses Use Agile methodologies to track work and enhancements in JIRA. Coordinate development efforts with the support and development teams for major enhancements Remain current on standards, technologies, approaches and methodologies Consistently apply the concept of continuous improvement Qualifications: Solid knowledge of project / program management tools, techniques and systems development methodologies, including expert use of Microsoft PowerPoint, JIRA and Excel. Knowledge of Planview and JIRA preferred Highly effective influence, negotiation and collaboration skills with the ability to work across the enterprise globally Strong financial management skills to establish controls, track resource/costs and provide timely program monitoring and good business solutions Excellent English communication (both written and oral) with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels Proven ability to multitask both independently and within a team Applicable undergraduate degree or Designation in Computer Science or equivalent experience Experience in financial industry Excellent presentation and facilitation skills Action oriented, creative and proactive thinker Willing to work different shifts (North American Business Hours + Asia Business Hours) Successful candidate should have some knowledge of the below technologies: End User Microsoft offerings like Teams, Office, SharePoint Technology Infrastructure including server & cloud-based technologies (like Azure) If you are ready to unleash your potential, it's time to start your career with Manulife/John Hancock.
