QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a CPA, MBA graduate
Must have ten (10) or more years of executive management experience in a multinational company in a high tech manufacturing environment.
Operationally-oriented financial management
Experience and advance knowledge in integrated ERP Systems like JDE, Oracle, SAP, etc.
Strategic planning, Cost accounting and cash flow forecasting experience
Excellent communicator, both verbally and in written form.
Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong business ethics, customer service orientation, team player, has energy, drive, commitment, determination and tenacity.
Ability to be exacting, thorough and attentive to detail, while still meeting deadlines required
Must be experienced with PEZA, BIR rules and regulations and other government regulatory requirement
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall leadership of the Finance and Shared Services organizations;
Responsible for the implementation and administration of corporate accounting policies;
Ensures the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and business controls for the entity;
Creates a conducive and productive work environment.
Partner with the Vice-President & Managing Director and the Management Team to drive strategic initiatives including capacity planning, value creation, capital investments, process improvements and talent development.
Works directly with corporate and local govt. agencies on matters pertaining to taxes, imports/exports, insurance, treasury, legal, etc.
Reviews and approves accounting transactions, legal contracts and processes
Maintain/improve standard cost and budgeting system, and maintain ERP system
Provides interpretation, analysis and recommendations to facilitate management decision making
Manages the financial planning, forecasting and reporting process to meet the needs of internal and external audiences
Evaluates financial plans and forecasts for congruence with business/operations plans and higher level financial goals
Reviews financial plans and reports to ensure completeness, timeliness, accuracy and consistency of information prior to distribution
Make decisions and recommendations to leadership that support the business strategy
Determines department organization structure and manages staffing levels and job assignments within the organization
Establish department targets and forecasts and manages expenses within approved targets
Drives the measurement of and evaluates the effectiveness of financial processes and services
Creates and nurtures a positive and productive working environment that emphasizes collaboration, teamwork and professional development
Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice-President & Managing Director
