Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work closely with Contract Manufactures (CM's), Procurement (US and Asia), Receiving (US), and Planning (Asia).
Ensure that Purchase Order (PO) and Goods Receipts (GR) are properly matched and processed (3-way/2-way match)
Processing of non-PO Payment Request in Oracle Cloud from ServiceNow system
Analyze AP aging report and open GR report to solve pending issues independently
Complete monthly vendor reconciliations and related GL Account reconciliations timely & accurately.
Provide deep dive discussion with site controllers for the open items in balance sheet account reconciliations
Generate various daily & weekly AP reports such as Block/On hold, AP Activity, Import Errors etc.
Fulfill specific service level requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives and on-going projects
Assists AP Management with ad hoc tasks as assigned
Extend Japanese language translation to other SSC Finance team as required.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
N1 to N2 JLPT linguistic competence level - required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any Business course is required
3-5 years' experience as Accounts Payable Analyst or within Finance/Accounting transactional activities
Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English languages (writing, reading and speaking)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of SAP, ORACLE
Excellent attention to detail, organizational & analytical skills
