This is the opportunity for the candidate to join a team of dynamic DBA professionals who work in a multi-client environment. The role has many aspects: project, business as usual requests and tasks. CGI also offer excellent training and career development opportunities. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Use standard tools and procedures to carry out the established service deliveries and maintenance tasks . Coordinate the delivery of services in partnership with other groups (such as security, telecommunications, Virtualization, System Administrator), technical specialists and external suppliers . Respond to clients' requests based on contractual conditions . Lead client communication . Follow ITSM ITIL processes for handling incidents, questions and requests for changes . Ensure the development and update of procedures and documentation . Implement solutions, modifications and installations, and perform maintenance . Prepare reports for clients based on their needs . Follow up and control the performance and status of a specific IT element along with coordinating routine test and analyses . Build, suspend and delete security accounts on the servers . Apply security correctives as needed . Install, configure and run various database tools . Maintain and develop scripts using UNIX shells and Windows PowerShell . Use software tools and material to diagnose and address issues/outages . Resolve problems in compliance with the established procedures Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Good knowledge of major OS - Microsoft, UNIX (AIX, Solaris et Linux) in the most recent versions . Practical experience Oracle High Availability (RAC and Dataguard) Oracle Wallet, TDE Exadata OEM, etc . Need excellent skills in problem analysis and problem resolution . Excellent organizational and communication skills . Self-reliance, creativity and proactivity . Able to work on a high challenging and changing environments . Customer-service oriented . Bilingual is an asset: English and French . You will participate in the 24/7 on-call support rotation with other team members. Education and experience: .
