DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implements changes in cost standards for materials, labor and overhead including impact in changes of routing hours
Prepares analyses of production variance related accounts ie. Material Variances, Concessions, Floor stock, and Applied Labor and Overhead
Prepares and presents weekly various work order reports, monitors work order aging and work order closing
Handles quarter and annual standard cost update/cost roll
Analyzes inventory revaluations
Performs month-end cost accounting close
Address issues e.g. routing set-ups, bill of material set-ups, cost issues, new projects, operation sequence updates and others
Work with Engineering, Supply Chain and the Business System teams to establish the correct bill of material cost per galley in ERP
Coordinates with Operations, Engineering Services and Business System teams to correct the setup of standard hours per galley in ERP.
Reports directly to the Controller and assists in the creation of forecast models related to production variances
Handles other Finance tasks assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years working experience in Manufacturing set up, metric driven company
With background in Managerial accounting
Preferably CPA
