The opportunity
Project: Project and design management of a new headquarters with a prestigious and distinctly identifiable structure that commensurate to the bank's status as one of the largest and leading financial institution in the country.
The building will be designed for the maximum allowed occupancy. It will serve as the location of most of the executives of the bank. It will also house the main branch, which needs to be designed with a distinctive banking hall.
We are looking to appoint a CS (Civil and Stuctural) Design Manager to join our project team based in Makati City. Working on a high-rise office campus development, to oversee, coordinate, and take accountability for all MEP related issues on the project.
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking senior civil structural engineer to join our established and growing team in Philippines.
Your responsibilities will include:
Checking design output to ensure information is clear, achievable, buildable, conforms to preferred methods and is available to enable efficient procurement and construction of the works.
Overseeing all technical aspects of the design including innovations and technical developments.
Assisting in the design and delivery of building, programmes of work to achieve the highest quality within given timescales, budgets and statutory requirements.
Reviewing designs and engagement through the design process.
Providing technical review of electrical engineering design services.
Working with the design consultants in undertaking the modelling and simulation options appraisals and feasibility studies and contributing whole life costing.
Directing and managing engineers involved in projects or groups of projects or programmes of works.
Taking the lead role in projects and programmes and production of information.
Carrying out quality assurance checks on designs carried out by others.
Running, attending, and participating in client meetings and design workshops.
Working with the client's commercial team on the procurement strategy.
Ensuring all civil and structural changes are cascaded through the project.
Providing weekly/monthly reports as required by the project to senior management.
About you
You have a degree in civil or structural engineering. You have design consultancy and construction experience.
