Your future duties and responsibilities: The Business Analyst (BA) operates within the Digital Labs Team and is responsible for facilitating business and functional process documentation partnering closely with scientific instrument users and owners, vendors, subject matter experts, and technical resources to identify business needs, define project requirements, and liaise the development of the solution through implementation. What You'll Do: . Partner with business users and strategy teams to understand & articulate business needs, translating them into functional requirements as user stories where required . Experience with Active Directory, user groups, network folder mapping, metadata, Data Analysis, System Analysis, Business Requirement Gathering and Data Warehousing . Assist in documenting current as is and to be scenarios . Shepherd technological change through implementation and sustainment using the Scaled Agile business methodology, through Project coordination activities . Spread the word on the lab application to the business and encourage users to incorporate it in their workflow actively Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional work experience working on a pharmaceutical research and development IT team . 5+ years of Eliciting and defining business requirements with our Product Owners and business partners by leading Requirements Elicitation sessions . Experience working with workflows and business process optimization . Hands on experience with writing stories and capturing requirements in JIRA . Ability to work with the project manager on product demos for stakeholders to solicit feedback and lead UAT efforts and accept completed development work on behalf of the business . Ability to work with the project manager to prepare Leadership reports using data extracts and Power point decks on a weekly/monthly basis Desirable for the role . Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate expertly with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts . Ability to think outside current processes and make recommendations . Solid understanding and experience with healthcare applications and technology . Experience with Agile methodology . Strong organizational skills including high attention to detail and ability to lead initiatives across workstreams .
