About the Sr. Automation Engineer (Remote Work) Role:
As a Sr. Automation Engineer, you will be working with an in-house development team and an augmented remote development team. You will design test cases to satisfy user stories and feature requirements utilising a BDD/ATDD approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in sprint activities, test preparation, creating manual and automated test cases
Raise defects with development
Write automated tests using Spectron in JavaScript and TypeScript
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Test backend systems
Troubleshoot and discover root cause of complex issues
Collaborate with developers to continuously improve the testability and robustness of the codebase
To succeed as a Sr. Automation Engineer (Remote Work), you should have excellent experience in using TypeScript with Node.js and development of the desktop application with JavaScript ES6+ with React on the Electron platform.
Key Requirements:
Real passion for success and never satisfied with achieving the bare minimum
Strong background in software engineering, your focus will be to improve and build upon our automated testing processes
