Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.
We are presently seeking for Senior Associate IT Developer (Power BI/SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence) that will be part of the "Data Services and BI" team in IT, participate on building and supporting analytical reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a variety of business and IT teams in design, develop, test and implement various business key metrics reports and dashboards and provide day to day support on reporting issues. This position will be based in the Manila Philippines office but will support the global BI platforms and business dashboards which are built connecting to various applications such as Data Warehouse, CRM (Salesforce.com), ANAPLAN and ERPs such as SAP, Dynamics AX etc.
Main responsibilities:
Collaborates with Excelitas business leadership team to develop and analyze business intelligence needs
Develops and documents business requirements for the design of BI solutions
Understands and interprets business requirements to provide BI solutions to meet the requirements
Designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports analytical reports and dashboards
Collaborates with cross functional IT and business teams on implementing BI solutions
Performs analysis of wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various data sources
Develops, executes, and documents user test plans
Designs and delivers end-user training on BI solutions and platforms
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree or Associate degree with equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in building and supporting analytical reports and dashboard using SAP Business Object BI (BOBJ) platform
Experience on Agile BI platforms such as Power BI is a must
Extensive knowledge on writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures using MS SQL Server RDBMS is a must
Experience on SAP Business Object (BOBJ) platform specifically designing and supporting Business Object Universes and WEBI reports is a plus
Development experience on SAP Business Object BI (BOBJ) platform is a must
Experience on SAP Business Object (BOBJ) platform administration is a plus
Experience on designing and creating reporting solutions using Microsoft SSRS tool is a plus
Experience working in a manufacturing industry is a plus
Strong development experience in building analytical reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects BI (BOBJ) platform connecting to various data sources and applications
Proven professional experience in building analytical reports, dashboards, data analysis, error handling, day-to-day support, troubleshooting data issues and data warehousing
Must have knowledge of Integration data flow, ETL process, Data warehousing concept and Management reporting needs
Proven ability to excel in customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority
Sound understanding of Data warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Marts and Big Data concept, best practices, relational structures, and data modeling techniques
Good understanding of business data such as Sales, Supply Chain, Finance etc. in a manufacturing industry and Business Intelligence platform architecture in the on premise, public and private cloud environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
