JOB SUMMARY
Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments.
Coordinates with business and technology teams.
Ascertains system requirements such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes and workflow.
Reports to the Lead IT Business Analyst for Engineering Technologies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
User support of TC, NX, Catia, Cortona and peripheral engineering software tools such as Airbus tool.
Issue investigation and resolution
Software installation
Assist with upgrade projects
Assist with system update testing and roll out.
Work with the local business to gather requirements for improvements in related business processes and forward on within the team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including experience of a 3D CAD tool and PLM tool. Experience of Catia V5, NX 9 or above, Teamcenter, Cortona or Airbus tools would be directly applicable.
