The Collins Aerospace Interiors Business & Technology Excellence team has an opportunity for a Business Analyst to be a part of the team supporting the digital thread backbone of business intelligence throughout Interiors Engineering organizations. The team is responsible to support the systems and reporting solutions across Interiors to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business. The position will provide the opportunity to learn about the whole business and learn a wide variety of tools and processes. It will also involve a significant amount of engagement with colleagues and end customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an able and ambitious individual to operate and deliver demonstrable customer value at the forefront of Collins Aerospace's significant delivery and investment in the Engineering Systems for the Interiors business unit.
Primary Responsibilities
User support of Teamcenter, NX, Catia, and peripheral engineering software tools
Issue investigation and resolution
Software installation
Assist with upgrade projects
Assist with system update testing and roll out.
Work with the local business to gather requirements for improvements in related business processes and forward on within the team.
Supports adoption of standard work processes.
Ensures the team operational and development change process is followed
Build strong relationships to partner with internal customers
Contribute, Create, and Maintain documentation for support knowledge articles
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including experience of a 3D CAD tool and PLM tool.
Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience communicating to a wide variety of audiences
Ability to analyze problems with attention to detail
Preferred Experience
Engineering System experience with Teamcenter and/or related PLM systems such as PTC-Windchill, Dassault-Enovia, Oracle-Agile.
Engineering System experience with Siemens NX, and/or related CAD systems such as PTC Creo, or Dassault Catia.
Experience as an engineering software support resource
Experience with Industry standard support tools such as ServiceNow
Proven customer facing and supporting skills
Aerospace industry experience
Experience we also value
Experience supporting Airbus tools and/or supporting Airbus as UEA Administrator.
License management software experience
Strong technical writing skills
Strong skills in analytical, problem solving, attention to details, and reporting
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
