POSITION SUMMARY
 
The Accounting Sr. Supervisor responsible for supervising the Accounts payable, receivable and GL functions. Ensures the accuracy company's financial data and also ensures that accounting information are completely recorded in the company's accounting software.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform month-end account closing activities, reconciliations and intercompany billings in preparation for reporting.
Review journal entries, intercompany billings, lapsing schedule and bank reconciliation prepared by GL accountant to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all entries made in accounting software. Prepares month end financial reports.
Review reports prepared by Accounts receivable specialist like the Daily & weekly collection report, sales summary, AR aging report to ensure 95% AR efficiency.
Review reports prepared by Accounts payable specialist like the weekly check release report, payables summary, petty cash fund report, AP aging report & the like.
Review payroll for non-confi employees & construction payroll
Handles revolving fund
Ensure proper maintenance of chart of accounts, customer & supplier database , property & others
Review & sign petty cash replenishment request & daily petty cash count report. Handles the Revolving fund
Ensure timely filing of supporting documents for journal entry adjustments, reconciliations, and other accounting schedules.
Perform other related duties and functions assigned by the Finance Manager.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR
Efficiency in gathering and verifying financial data for reconciliation and journal entry adjustments.  Accuracy, completeness and timeliness on month end activities and posting in accounting software (SAP).
Efficiency of AR collections & avoid past due accounts
Completeness and accuracy of supporting documents and schedules on reconciliation and journal entry adjustments.
Timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reports assigned by the Finance Manager.
