We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the strategic financial planning of the organization.
Job Description:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and regulatory requirements.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with management to develop and monitor annual budgets.
Prepare accurate financial forecasts and variance analysis.
Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
General Accounting:
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Tax Compliance:
Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws.
Prepare and file tax returns, including Value Added Tax (VAT) and Income Tax Returns (ITR).
Stay updated on changes in tax regulations affecting the organization.
Audit Coordination:
Facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Implement recommendations from audit findings to improve financial processes.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Provide insights on cost control, revenue enhancement, and financial performance.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the finance team.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting
· CPA certification is strongly preferred.
· Extensive knowledge of advanced accounting principles and practices
· Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
· In-depth knowledge of local and national tax laws and regulations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
