Job Description
As a Java Spring Boot Developer, you will:
Develop and engineer end-to-end system features, from user experience to backend code.
Deliver innovative solutions that help clients improve their services.
Leverage new technologies with a cloud-first and agile mindset.
Collaborate in an agile development team, adopting best practices like pair programming, test-driven development, and code reviews.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to other team members.
Handle feasibility studies, impact analysis, and support production environments.
Core Technical Skillset
Frontend/Full-stack Development: Proficient in React (frontend) and Java/Spring Boot (backend).
Key Technologies: Core Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Docker.
Strong understanding of test-driven development, CI/CD, and code coverage tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must-Have Skills
At least 2 years' experience or 1 year of consistent experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring.
Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD tools.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with AWS Cloud Services and microservices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
Knowledge of tools like BPMN, DMN, and SHIP-HATS within the SG Government Tech Stack.
Certifications: Any AWS certification is a plus.
