Summary Description:
The responsibilities extend to the implementation of certification processes aimed at periodically validating user access rights. This involves confirming the ongoing necessity of assigned privileges and promptly revoking any inappropriate access. Additionally, the role includes the monitoring and management of user accounts, ensuring proper provisioning and timely de-provisioning, especially in cases of role changes or employee departures. Furthermore, it entails the regular review and assessment of access control policies, adhering to the principle of least privilege to grant individuals the minimum necessary access for their respective job functions.
Responsibilities:
● Access Control Security Review
○ Develop and execute certification processes to validate and audit user access rights periodically.
○ Confirm the ongoing necessity of assigned privileges and promptly address access revocation.
● User Account Management
○ Monitor and manage user accounts, ensuring proper provisioning and timely de-provisioning.
○ Address access changes, especially during role transitions or employee departures.
● Mapping Documentation and Reporting
○ Maintain comprehensive documentation which includes but is not limited to process map documents, narratives of the process of data governance and access management processes.
● Continuous Improvement
○ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data security and access control measures.

Qualifications:
● Educational Background:
○ A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or a relevant discipline.
● Experience:
○ Proven work experience in data governance, access management, or any related field.
○ Previous work in roles involving data management, security, risk management and compliance is preferred.
● Knowledge:
○ In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards.
○ Familiarity with access control mechanisms, policies, and procedures.
● Technical Skills:
○ Proficiency in process and data management tools, database systems, and access control technologies.
○ Experience with tools used for access certification and identity and access management (IAM) is valuable.
● Analytical Skills:
○ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues related to data integrity, access control, and security.
● Communication Skills:
○ Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Attention to Detail:
○ Meticulous attention to detail in handling data, implementing access controls, and ensuring compliance with policies.
