Description
1. Ensures the practical application of current laboratory physico-chemical and organoleptic analyses on all samples for Shelf Life Monitoring of all products and thereafter contributes to the timely reporting of quality outputs on a weekly basis.
2. Conducts Accelerated Shelf Life Testing of all products packed in various packaging materials following either Temperature Acceleration and/or Moisture Acceleration approaches, where applicable.
3. Checks and monitors reference standards of all products for production line QA-Inspectors and updates thereof, as necessary.
4. Conducts random Spot Checking on Production Areas and QA-Laboratories.
5. Carries out inventory of laboratory chemicals, apparatus/ equipment, glassware and the verification thereof based on the approved Verification Plan (QA-SD-C7).
6. Contributes valuable recommendations and suggestions for the improvement of laboratory work activities to the respective Chemistry Supervisor.
7. Maintains good housekeeping of laboratory facilities.
8. Participates in the conduct of special analyses to include experiments and trial runs in drafting documents and/or necessary revisions by the immediate supervisor, related to details of procedures, work instructions, and guidelines pertaining to Chemistry activities.
9. Ensures the collection of relevant and quality data during experiments and prepares complete documentation including specifications and technical profile.
10. Provides administrative and technical support in the implementation of all physical and chemical procedures, work instructions, and guidelines in each respective section in the absence of the immediate supervisor.
