Sourcing and Logistics Agent
What are we looking for:
Multiplymii is in search of a Sourcing and Logistics Agent, you will be working with our US-based client. Our client is an eCommerce company whose goal is to expand and reinforce brand identity, build systems and extend product lines to the next level.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English communication in both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will translate an idea into a great private label product and know-how to assess its viability and take that product and make it a reality.
This includes assessing the market and looking for and communicating with various suppliers
You will be a highly critical and analytical thinker, who will work closely with suppliers, and should understand the sourcing process.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
● Communicate with suppliers and delivery partners to ensure changing requirements are met in a timely manner
● Sourcing potential suppliers on Alibaba and other sources (with ability to identify the difference between a reseller and a manufacturer on Alibaba)
● Understand and implement request for quote procedures
● Retrieve prices, samples, prototypes, and requests
● Have a basic understanding of shipping/logistics processes for communication purposes
● Research potential new sources and suppliers
About You:
● 3+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain, procurement, instock, logistics, or VA
● International logistics experience in wholesale distribution or retail supply chain environment
● Negotiating with suppliers in Alibaba and other manufacturing services in Asia is a big plus
● Excellent organization and communication skills
● High attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to
manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
