WHAT IS CYBER SECURITY ARCHITECT Our awesome client, a leading Employee Management Services company based in Australia is looking for a Cyber Security Architect to be part of their team WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Design, architecture and guidance of the implementation of cyber security systems and protocols for technology & business projects, and BAU change Working with the Senior Cyber Security Architect to develop and implement secure by design principles in line with cyber strategy and standards Guiding enterprise architecture, development teams and solution / infrastructure architects on current industry security practices Assisting in the definition and design of standards, frameworks and architectures that align with overall business, technology and cyber security strategies Identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats, technology trends Designing solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements Identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements Assisting and contributing to cyber security strategies to continuously monitor and improve our threat & risk profile Aiding with vendor selection and management criteria, in relation to SOC or similar compliance - ensuring that the client's exposure is minimal/managed Contributing to, and support of, the Cyber Security Team and Cyber Security Strategy WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR 3+ years with threat & risk analysis, architecture blueprint development, design assurance or security engineering Strong understanding of security architecture (technical) standards, global industry practices, threat modelling Application and Infrastructure Security Architecture NIST / ISO 27001 Azure Cloud Security Architecture Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent work experience SABSA, ISSAP, CISM, SANS, ICS2 (CISSP) and other technology/ cyber certification Ability to communicate effectively in and across the business, explaining the importance of Cyber Security and ensuring engagement Detailed and critical thinking Self-driven and proactive Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft products, cloud architectures, microservices, application & infrastructure security protocols Strong understanding of security architecture (technical) standards, global industry practices, threat modelling Strong knowledge of cyber security emerging threats & emerging cyber technology trends Willing to work in a Shifting Schedule and WFH
