How will you create impact
This role will report directly to Head of Architecture in MITDC. This role will primarily support one of the regional digital strategies of Manulife Asia working directly with regional product owner, business team, and delivery team in delivering digital customer solution across Asia. This role will also be given an opportunity to work on architecture services (API, Microservices, Software Standardization) together with architecture community in defining/updating architecture standards and best practices that is used across the organization.

We are looking for someone with:
3-5 years of experience in Solution Architecture
5+ years of broad Financial Services experience
8+ years of experience in project delivery & Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) using agile delivery methodology.
8+ years experience with e-business, digital and partner integration programs
Extensive experience dealing with third parties including management of an offshore ADM center
Experience working with remote/geographically dispersed teams including extensive travel
Experience with Insurance customer channels including: Direct, Affinity, Agents, Brokers, GI and Bancassurance
Experience in Application development, design & integration
On the job you will:
Acts in the role of Solution Architect working with regional program team to deliver digital solutions to our customers.
Collaborates effectively with different stakeholders i.e. Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Infrastructure Architects, Product Owner, Program Managers.
Creates phased implementation architectures that deliver on the future state according to business priorities
Identifies architectural issues and risks and, if necessary, escalate them in a timely manner
