The candidate should enjoy mentoring other team members and collaborating with other senior architects. Collaborate with Product and Solution Managers on technology roadmap Design key architectural components of large solutions Lead transformation initiatives such as Cloud native solutions, DevOps, advanced analytics, intelligent automation. Micro services architecture etc. (depending on your area(s) of expertise) Collaborate with solution engineering teams and architects to ensure synergy and consistency across solutions (in terms of technology and architecture) Help evaluate and make decisions on technologies, tools and overall technology strategy Participate & support in architecting solutions that go into bids/deals Your future duties and responsibilities: Enterprise Architecture - 10+ years experience Designing and architecting large scale applications, including SaaS and cloud based applications- 10+ years experience Java/Web applications and contemporary development platforms/frameworks - 10+ years experience The Solutions Architect will design and communicate high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that deliver best value in CGI proposals, balancing competitiveness, costs, risks and deliverability of solutions. They will be able to share and communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language that is the parlance of each group.
