Work is at a client site in north Hampshire. Once established in the role, some remote working may be possible. Occasional travel to other client sites and supplier sites may also be required. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level' for this position. Your future duties and responsibilities: The analyst will work within the joint client-CGI design team assessing and selecting appropriate design templates for moving applications onto client IT systems. As a Solution Analyst, you will technically analyse a variety of applications to understand the installation, configuration and functionality of software to produce technical documents to support the deployment and subsequent support of the application. The Solution Analyst will be working with Web applications, Client/Server applications and various database applications. This work is done alongside third-party software vendors and other teams to produce solution design documentation. These are submitted to the client for formal review and approval. Complete Solution Design documentation in accordance with the workstream plans. Report regularly to the Solution Design Lead on progress, highlighting schedule exceptions, issues, risks, and identifying recovery/mitigation actions. Ensure compliance of all Solution Design work with the current baseline of Application workstream business processes defined by the workstream, together with the standards, processes and procedures defined in the current Quality Plan. Raise all delivery/performance issues with the Solution Design Lead in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken. Liaise with client representatives in deriving the solution for complex cases. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Required skills: Analytical and technical ability to analyse application media and identify installation processes and configuration. Ability to produce high quality technical documentation. General understanding of Windows applications environments (Windows 7, 10 and 11) Excellent communication and aptitude, combined with the ability to investigate and understand technical applications Opportunity to work within a close-knit, established team in a collaborative environment.
