CGI is looking to hire an individual to support a customer solution of which we have overall responsibility for the project management, system design, build, integration, installation and support activities. There are four basic elements to the supported solution: . An oracle database to store, manipulate and manage high volumes of complex, classified data . A common suite of state-of-the-art specialist applications . A web portal . A new enterprise management reporting process and workflow layer to provide end-to-end business integration and control across the enterprise This role works with the existing team to provide an on-site support function for the System, which can involve customer installations within a secure environment. This role is only available if you hold or fulfil the criteria to obtain a UK Security Clearance and are comfortable working 5 days per week on client site. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Fault investigation and rectification . Incident Management . Classified material handling and management . Gain an understanding of the customer's hardware infrastructure, including the security lock downs and its relation to the solution . Gain an understanding of the user processes and procedures for manipulating and managing high volumes of complex, classified data within the solution . Hands on deployment of the solution to the various test systems and live environment . Preparing, updating and contributing to installation documentation . Defining a recommended approach to administering the live system. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Good Organisational Skills . Analysis, fault finding and rectification . Unix Administration (preferably Solaris 10/11) . Familiar with VMWARE and Solaris Zones . Windows 2008 - 2019 administration . A Team player . Understanding of high level technology and has an appreciation of systems . Of a mind-set which is both detailed and can still understand the wider picture . Willing to learn & improve . Efficient . Effective . Adaptable . Problem Solver . Situational awareness . Ability to communicate appropriately to all levels of personnel . Good at building relationships . Good at building trust Desirable: . Windows IIS knowledge . Oracle DB Administration . Quick learner able understand both the solution and the domain . Ability to script (Powershell & Bash) to support installation and maintenance . Build & Release Process . Unix administration . ORACLE Products Configuration WebLogic, BPEL Manager . Oracle SOA Suite . Active Directory . Windows system administration . VM administration . Service desk experience This role is only available if you hold or fulfil the criteria to obtain a UK Security Clearance.
