Job Description
Perform routine maintenance on solar PV systems, including cleaning and inspection of panels, checking connections, and monitoring performance to identify and resolve issues.
Conduct troubleshooting and repairs as needed, including replacement of damaged parts, such as modules, inverters, and batteries
Using the CMMS, keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment.
Monitor the performance of solar PV systems and collect data to optimize their efficiency and output
Respond to emergencies or system failures and take corrective action as needed to ensure the safe and reliable operation of solar PV systems
Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure the timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
Maintain compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
Keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends related to solar PV systems.
Provide training to accompanying employees on the operation and maintenance of solar PV systems.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
Electrical Engineering Degree or Certificate or equivalent experiences
Must have 5 years of experience in Solar photovoltaic (PV) Systems
Experience in Lock out Tag Out procedures including grounding high voltage systems
Excellent communication skills
Basic MS Outlook Excel and Word, and ability to provide tracking and reporting
