We are seeking a motivated and experienced Solar Project Design Engineer to join our team remotely. As a Solar Project Design Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing Helioscope/PVSyst and AutoCAD to create initial layouts for solar projects, interpreting civil and structural documents to assist in the design process, and designing major and minor modifications to electrical systems to incorporate the installation of solar projects. Additionally, you will be expected to complete electrical design, including single-line drawings for solar projects, finalize electrical system designs, and prepare construction documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Helioscope/PVSyst and AutoCAD to create initial layouts for solar projects.
Interpret civil and structural documents to assist in the design process.
Design major and minor modifications to electrical systems to incorporate the installation of solar projects.
Complete electrical design, including single-line drawings for solar projects.
Finalize electrical system designs and prepare construction documents.
Check existing drawings to determine the best possible locations for solar projects.
Identify problem areas that will affect the design of new systems.
Update construction documents and develop final as-builts.
Perform preliminary project cost estimates.
Perform electricity usage reviews and rate calculations.
Understand and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) related to Solar.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field highly preferred
Proven experience in solar project design and engineering in the US.
Proficiency in Helioscope, PVSyst, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
Strong understanding of civil and structural documents related to solar projects.
Familiarity with electrical system design and single-line drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) related to Solar is required.

Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
Salary: $1000-$2000 / month
Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM EST
