This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will assume a major collaborative role in renewable energy system feasibility, design, development coordination, technical sales support, and will have daily involvement from early conceptual design to commissioning and closeout.
Experience in design and/or fast-paced construction operations environments is highly desirable. The successful candidate may also assist with the general support of the service department, and the service department daily system monitoring.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction discipline with a 3.0 GPA minimum preferred
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD
- Renewable Energy design experience and experience with PV System and Helioscope analysis tools
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Microsoft Excel
- Strong quantitative-analytical skills
- Familiarity with Google Earth and other GIS system
- NABCEP PV Design Specialist certification or demonstrated comparable skill set
- Understanding of engineering calculations and principles
- Willingness to learn and ability to gain proficiency in new software programs and organizational processes
- Candidate must possess excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written)
