Description
Perform test estimation
Analyzes and validate business requirements based on approved design and documentation
Develops test cases and test steps and parameters
Performs system testing - carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing, and scalability testing
Analyzes and report defects
Creates test progress report
Presents findings to software development and business user teams
Communicates findings to technical and non-technical colleagues
Perform administrative functions for testing activities
Other Duties:
Meet with Business Analyst to understand the scope of the projects
Work with developers/programmers and project support teams
Plan activities based on the project schedule provided by the Project Manager
Run manual and automated tests
Test in different environments, including web and mobile
Work on multiple projects at one time
A. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Must be a Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
B. EXPERIENCE:
Preferably with 2 - 4 years relevant experience as Software Tester or similar function.
Knowledge of automated software testing is essential.
With experience in Microsoft Test Manager
Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications.
Ability to problem-solve, attention to detail and multi-task effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to establish rapport.
Ability to work independently with a strong sense of focus, task-oriented, non-judgmental, open personal qualities, and clear sense of boundaries.
