Software Researcher (Remote)

And we're looking for a Software researcher to start immediately!
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interpreting research specifications and developing a work plan that satisfies requirements.
Conduct software-related research to gather data for the support widget.
Writing proposals and delivering presentations when required.
Taking specific requirements and researching suitable off-the-shelf products/services
Assist in building the research questions and strategy with a basic understanding of the product.
Anticipating research issues and promptly resolving them, giving research direction, and uncovering dead-ends or promising directions.
Writing proposals and delivering presentations when required.
Assist in content generation and community building (create blog posts based on what they've found or what they're doing and answering questions on their online community).
Communicating with the research authors, or prominent person for better research outcome/result.
Ad-Hoc Tasks
Schedule: US work hours (40+ hours per week)
Location: This is a remote job
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of proven experience in a research field especially software.
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
Background in Health Information Technology (HIT) is desirable
Strong problem-solving skills and a team-player
Sound understanding of research methodologies.
Able to work on a graveyard shift
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Able to give and receive constructive criticism
Tech Savvy
Proactive attitude
Technical Requirements:
USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature
Working Webcam
Main and backup computer specifications must be at least a 1.8 GHz processor with a 4GB RAM
Main Internet service speed must be at least 25 Mbps wired connection
Backup Internet Service Speed must have at least 10 Mbps
