The office in Cebu, Philippines is responsible for medical record processing operations -- RNs, Medical Technologists, Pharmacists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Data Processors and Retrieval Agents who work hand-in-hand with a wide-range of medical records, creating usable databases and beautiful patient timelines.
Job Brief
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and manage the Software QA functions of PicnicHealth Cebu.
Your role as an Software Quality Assurance Manager will include overseeing the designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will manage a team of Software Quality Analysts and monitor their performance. You will also develop a cadence in reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
Ultimately, you should manage the monitoring of all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with Software Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Act as a Senior point of contact for Cebu Product QA Tester team
Mentor and monitor Junior Product QA tester
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Tester Manager or similar role
Experience in project management and QA methodology
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Strong organizational skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
