TALLANT ASIA is looking to hire SOFTWARE QAs for a client based in Australia.
 
About the client
The client is an Australian owned parking software and hardware company. They have been in the parking market for over seven years and they currently operate in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. Their mission is to optimise bookable assets through smarter technology.
 
The client is expanding and is looking for a talented Software QAs who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be contributing to the client's newest products and working with market-leading
technology.
 
What you'll be doing:
Conducting testing in an agile environment using manual and automation tools
Providing advice and recommendations on all aspects of test planning and execution, to ensure the solution is fit for purpose
Planning, writing, executing and reporting on the full range of QA non-functional and functional test activities
Testing API's using Postman and QA automation tools
Assist other QA team members to develop, implement and maintain quality assurance systems
Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Liaising with internal teams (e.g. developers and senior leaders) to identify system requirements
 
On your first day we'd like you to have:
At least two years experience in a previous QA role
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Good knowledge of SQL and scripting
Ability to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment
Nice to have experience within a Software-as-a-Service experience
Strong documentation and attention to detail
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
