Description
I. Job Purpose or Summary
Under the supervision of the R&D Supervisor and Research & Team Lead, the Developer is responsible in the research and development of business systems, modules and functions based on the Company set standard and procedure. Design and implements software programs. Ensures that the end product comply with the specifications and meets high level of quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Research
• Conducts innovative research based on new trends to be used in the development of the existing products.
• Finds new tools and methods to solve problems. Obtaining applicable new knowledge that can be adopt on current development process.
• Actively seek ways to improve business software process and interaction.
B. Development
• A Developer may be assigned to different Research & Development groups such as PDT, CMT and CST.
• Responsible in the management of system performance and mitigating potential risk.
• Ensure that the source code follows the design standards and maintainability.
• Creates a system based on the agreed features in line with client requirements
• Design and implements software programs
• Conduct daily reviews and updates on the existing programs.
• Creates and document all performed short-term and long-term fix.
• Providing necessary improvement by presenting ideas through gathered feedback and recommends immediate actions.
• Collaborating with team members to determine best practices to attend to client's requirements
• Perform troubleshooting on coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure productivity in workplace.
• Maintains prompt completion and delivery of projects and programs.
• Analyse and test programs prior to formal launch; maintains the integrity and accuracy of software source code prior to the delivery of programs.
• Ensure software security of company private information and codes.
• Maintains strict adherence to programming and documentation process.
• Submit necessary progress reports to immediate superior and provides feedback in resolving significant problems
• Performs other assignment and functions that may be required from time to time by the immediate superior or the management.
Qualification:
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Bachelors in Information System or equivalent
• Five (5) Years of working experience in the same field is required for this position
• Highly skilled and has expertise in either PHP, C++ or Android, Java Script, Node JS, and Phyton
• Has actual experience handling Web Frame work like Yii 2.0 and Vue.js
• Proficient in using MySQL and SQL Lite database
• Specialization in Full Stack Development (Front-end and Back-end)
• Has strong skills and experience in performing research and development in innovation and improvement of business application and processes.
• With solid technical background in Integration of third-party application
• Highly organized and very analytical
