SOFTWARE DEVELOPER / PROGRAMMER
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and related courses
Extensive background in PHP Framework such as Codeigniter & Laravel.
Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, MySQL and development using responsive design.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Bootstrap and AngularJS
Good understanding of different software development processes, especially SCRUM and other agile methods.
Must have knowledge of Use Case and Agile Methodology.
Willing to be trained as an assistant analyst, thus less coding but more planning.
Ability to work independently and high-level decision-making skills.
Comfortable working in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Studies request and other systems for new or modified formats by users.
Develops programs for new systems using the most suitable programming language.
Performs testing of modules and makes necessary corrections on systems not generating the desired results.
Assists in the proper implementation of approved programs using the standard system and
procedures among end users.
Assists users on any problems encountered relevant to computer programs.
Documents procedures in the use of modules for future reference.
Maintains programs assigned by the Department Manager/Head. Ensures assigned programs/systems are running effectively and efficiently all the time. Makes necessary preventive actions and improvements whenever necessary.
Informs immediate superior promptly any problems or unusual matters of significance.
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by immediate superiors.
