Job Description
The Registered Social Worker Shall help assess the present and incoming clients that we sponsored and will sponsor through the Scholarship Program dubbed as Street and Urban Working Children(SUWC). Gathering relevant information about individual cases, providing crisis intervention and work closely with the parents of the client-scholars.
May also be required to assess other projects of the foundation as deemed necessary.
Skills Requirements
-A Registered Social Worker
-A minimum work experience of 1 year as a social worker
-Working knowledge of social theories and practices
-Ability to build and maintain professional helping relationships and assess situations
-Ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups
Job Requirements
-Interview service users/scholars to be and assess their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses
-Maintain and manage an individual case study of clients/scholars and set tailored measurable goals
-Monitor and evaluate clients'/scholars progress and suggest treatment plans accordingly
-Offer information and counselling on the best course of action during sessions
-Maintain accurate records and report on clients' /scholars' status
-Attend case conferences and meetings with parents and teachers of the clients/scholars
-Act as a key-worker and cooperate with team
