Job Description
Provides professional, quality instruction to the students;
Attends classes promptly;
Maintains a record of class attendance;
Implements consistently established classroom and school policies and procedures;
Maintains regular communication with the Section Advisers regarding the deportment or behavioral problems encountered with students;
Attends and participates actively in faculty meetings and other school activities;
Acts as Class Adviser and performs the duties and functions attached therefrom;
Participates in curriculum development, research activities and school functions;
Prepares E-Course Outlines, E-Teaching-Learning Plans, test questions and other teaching-learning materials for the subject/s he/she is assigned to teach;
Informs Subject Area Coordinator/s in case of absence, and prepares academic work to be given to his/her classes that would be administered by teacher substitute/s;
Acts as proctors during examinations and must be well versed in the mechanics for accomplishing answer sheets to be able to guide the students properly;
Accomplishes school paperworks on time, including but not limited to DepED School Forms, Manual and E-Class Records, grades, Report Cards;
Attends to substitution assignments as may be determined by coordinators;
Attends to consultation with students and/or their parents;
Conducts parent conferences especially on poor student academic performance and attendance;
Coaches and accompanies students to inter-school competitions and the like when requested
Carries self in a professional and ethical manner, especially in dealing with students, parents, colleagues, superiors, and other school's stakeholders;
Avoids any professional or personal action or activity that may result to economic loss, social embarrassment, or legal action of the school;
Fulfills the terms and conditions of employment; and
Performs such other functions related to academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities as assigned by the SHS Principal.
