Social Media Specialist
 
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the consistent and effective management of our clients' social media pages. Your duties will include publishing content, maintaining social media platforms, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, and providing on-call coverage for specific requests. You will play a crucial role in driving engagement, building brand awareness, and maintaining a strong online presence for our clients.
 
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor clients' social media channels on a daily basis, adhering to strict guidelines provided
Administer the publishing and scheduling of original, high-quality content across all social media platforms
Manage multiple project requests simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
Ensure quality assurance of publishing and project management tasks across desktop and mobile environments
Utilize reporting platforms (e.g., Jira, Zeus Core) for task monitoring and generate comprehensive reports on social media activity
Collaborate and communicate with team leads, counterparts, and other agencies regarding ongoing social media initiatives
Actively participate in trainings, daily calls, and monthly meetings as set by the team lead/counterparts
Stay up-to-date with changes on all social media platforms, ensuring maximum efficiency in content delivery
Adapt and respond constructively to changing deadlines and priorities
Create and maintain process documentation to streamline social media management workflows
Assist in ensuring standards and requirements are met by conducting quality assurance checks
Support and address team members' concerns and questions
Coordinate and monitor daily production activities
Prepare technical documentation as needed
Assist in onboarding new team members and interns
Evaluate the performance of junior team members
Coordinate with global counterparts for seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing
 
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, Journalism, Broadcasting, or a related field
Minimum of 3-4 years of working experience in a related field, with a focus on social media management
Proficient experience in maintaining and using social media pages effectively
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for basic graphic editing
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for task management and collaboration
Proactive and able to work independently or with minimal supervision
Strong consistency and excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to remote work environments and handle social media publication tasks effectively
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and able to take initiative to get the job done
Leadership skills to guide and train other team members effectively
Fast learner with the ability to think outside the box
Able to work in a distributed/remote and collaborative global team environment
Willingness to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays
 
Nice to have
Ability to analyze data and write effective emails 
 
Work set-up and working hours:
Shifting schedule: 1:00PM to 10:00PM
