In this role, you will manage and maintain security tools, monitor alerts and logs for potential threats, and collaborate with the team to ensure project success. Your focus will be involved in planning and development, coordinating team members, tracking progress, resolving issues, and providing regular updates.

Job Responsibilities
Review logs and alerts received from security assets, create incidents, assign/engage respective Level 2 or Third-Party support teams as needed.
Ability to multi-task, and to work on processing multiple tickets meeting the operational service level targets.
Addressing Support Tickets
Ensuring all clients with security issues are managed to a resolution in a timely manner prioritizing all SLAs.
Escalate high priority incidents/tickets or client issues to SOC Team Leader.
Collaborate with senior SOC team members to resolve security issues and implement necessary remediation process.
Perform documented procedures for standardized support activities.
Willingness to learn, absorb and correlate technical information and then be able to interpret and simplify it. Passion for technology.
Well organized and able to leverage best practices, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to approach problems with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Security, Information Security, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications:
At least two (2) years of experience in IT operations and monitoring as well as systems and/or network administration
Solid knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity tools.
Familiarity with various security technologies, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are a plus but not required.
Fundamental knowledge in hacker techniques and security incident response is a plus.
Strong written and oral communication in English. French speaking is a plus
Organized and with a strong attention to details

Excellent organization and team collaboration skills
·Willingness to work the night shift (graveyard) and/or weekends. (Team is covering 24/7)
Familiarity with ConnectWise manage or ConnectWise automate (LabTech) is a plus.
