SMT TECHNICIAN
 
Job Description
Turns ON/OFF SMT machines at respective SMT production lines.
Performs daily inspection and maintenance of the machine and fill-up Checksheets.
Sets-up all SMT machines at assigned SMT production line and fill-up Set-up checksheets.
Prepares solder paste before and after production.
Runs production first board, checks and informs go signal to line members.
Replenish empty parts of Yamaha Chip Placer and fills-up Part Monitoring Logsheets.
Requests components to warehouse for lacking parts and fills-up logsheets.
Makes production sample during change model and send to checker and QA for testing.
Follows up status of production sample and proceed to mass production if pass QA testing.
Checks machine efficiency and coordinates with PCB Loader if hourly output plan is achieved.
Checks and performs countermeasure to basic machine errors encountered.
Performs minor repair when needed and fills-up machine adjustment logsheet.
Performs preventive maintenance to assigned SMT machines and fills-up checksheets.
Checks and compares parts list versus machine parts and parts quantity with Aligner during change of production model and fills-up Set-up checksheets.
Checks and compares actual part versus required parts of machine during SMT first board and fills-up set-up Checksheets.
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Maintains work area clean, safe and organized.
Reports any abnormalities and unsafe operations to SMT Head immediately.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Electronics Technology or equivalent
At least one (1) year experience in an electronic manufacturing firm
Experience in SMT Line (printer/mounter/oven) is  a must
Computer Literate
Experience in Yamaha Clip Mounter machine is a definite advantage
